Brand Visual CHBS
Cooroy Home Brew Centre is a Queensland startup supplying home brewing ingredients, equipment and accessories to the local community. The business required a clear and approachable brand identity that would help it establish a professional presence from launch.
The Problem
As a new business entering the local retail market, Cooroy Home Brew Centre needed a recognisable identity that communicated its purpose clearly while remaining friendly, practical and accessible.
The branding also needed to work across several applications, particularly external shop signage where visibility, readability and consistency were essential. With no existing visual identity in place, the project needed to establish a solid foundation that the business could continue using as it grew.
The Approach
I began by translating the client’s brief into a straightforward visual direction suited to the home brewing market and the character of the business.
A flexible logo suite was created alongside supporting brand elements, typography and a distinctive colour palette. These elements were documented in a simple style guide to help maintain consistency across future marketing and communications.
The identity was then applied to the shop signage, with careful consideration given to scale, legibility, placement and the physical characteristics of the building. I collaborated with the client throughout the process to refine the layouts and ensure the final production delivered on their expectations.
